서울오라토리오 최영철 감독 안토닌 드보르작 협회의 명예의 전당에 오르다.

명예의 전당 증서

최영철 감독은 2005년부터 한국과 체코의 연주 및 교육교류를 이끌고 있으며, 국제 안토닌 드보르작 작곡콩쿨(International Antonín Dvořák Composition Competition)를 설립하여 드보르작의 작품과 업적을 알리고 신진 작곡가를 발굴, 육성하는데 힘써왔습니다. 지난해에는 체코 프라하 The Holy Salvador Church에서 개최한 드보르작 추모음악회 ‘Requiem’를 지휘하였습니다. 이에 안토닌 드보르작 협회(회장. Marketa Hallová)는 제9회 작곡콩쿨 대회 시상식 자리에서 깊은 감사의 뜻을 전하며 증서와 선물을 수여하였습니다.

"The Antonín Dvořák Society was established in 1931 by Antonín Dvořáks students, friends and family to commemorate the composer, to protect his personality and, above all, to promote his work and the work of his students. The Antonín Dvořák Society in its last annual meeting elected the conductor, composer and musicologist in one person, Maestro Young-Chul Choi to be a honorary member of the The Antonín Dvořák Society.The Antonín Dvořák Society appreciates Maestros efforts in spreading Dvořáks work in Korea and also abroad - by organizing the IADCC. The society highly values Maestro's initiatives in organizing a concert in the Church of the Holy Salvador in Prague, with korean soloits and choir, last year in July, to commemorate Antonín Dvořák III, the grandson of the composer.„
